The Cathedral Film Society has been suspended following allegations that the May showing of "I'm a bit of a bitch" starring Emily Plush, contravened the Wenchoster City Council's guidelines for Public Performance. The Society's convenor, Angus McStrapp, has been dismissed, and the Secretary, Ivor Weiner, placed under suspension. It is not envisaged that the Society will re-form. At the suggestion of the Cathedral Chapter, all film enquiries are being directed to the Continentale Cinema in Stiff Street, Wenchoster, whose website can be found HERE. |
